John Lawrie’s Tubulars team in the USA has today announced further investment in its Northeast operations with the expansion of its newest yard in Camden, New Jersey.
Opened only recently in May, the original 8-acre yard included 23,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space plus a 5,000 ft. garage and office space, but work has already started on expanding the capacity of the facility as John Lawrie further invests in the region.
Five additional acres will soon be ready to receive thousands of tons of new pipe in a variety of sizes, walls, and grades to meet all client piling and foundation needs. Once complete, the expanded facility will spread over 15 acres and house over 30,000 tonnes of on the ground pipe ready to ship for any piling project across the USA. With shipments of New Domestic Surplus and Secondary pipe coming in weekly, the site will soon be at capacity.
With six strategically placed yards all situated close to excellent transport links, John Lawrie Tubulars is one of America’s leading steel pipe piling suppliers to the construction industry.
Stay tuned for continued updates on this rapid Northeast expansion, including the development of the 120,000’ sq. ft. warehouse fabrication shop, where the team will be offering covered welding and manufacturing capabilities, out of the elements to ensure quality service and timely deliveries.
