DebraFest is quickly becoming a favourite for all the family. It’s an annual event held in Montrose, Angus – which is held to raise money for Debra UK. DEBRA is a national charity and patient support organisation for people living with the rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) also known as ‘Butterfly Skin’. EB causes the skin to become very fragile and tear or blister at the slightest touch. A charity which is held close to the hearts of many Montrosians.
John Lawrie Tubulars was pleased to be in a position to become headline sponsors of the event which took place on 13th July 2024. The event is run by a talented squad of volunteers, who made the day special for all who attended. It was clear that they really understood how to bring the community together, catering for all ages. The organisation of the event, combined with the exceptional performers which included musicians, dancers and entertainers, along with local businesses and stall holders really made for a memorable experience.
An impressive £30k was raised by the local (and wider) community, we hope that all who attended enjoyed it as much as we did. Roll on DebraFest 2025!
