Craig Jessop is Top Driven Piling Sales Manager with John Lawrie Tubulars Ltd based in Montrose, Scotland. We’re proud to say Craig has been a key part of the team for 23 years. Today Craig takes us behind the scenes, shares insight into the work that makes him proud and tells us more about working with a great team.
Have you always worked in the steel industry?
What does your job entail?
C.J: Dealing with and looking after customer enquiries, projects large or small, making sure all projects run smoothly and that all material is delivered on time.
What’s your favourite part of your job?
C.J: Working with the great team we have here at JLT and the interaction I have with our clients on a daily basis.
What’s the most challenging part of your job?
C.J: Keeping all my customers happy :).
What are you most proud of as part of your job?
C.J: Being able to respond quickly to our client’s requirements and the satisfaction from successfully completing a project, be it large or small.
Where are you from?
C.J: Fyvie, Aberdenshire.
Where did you go to school?
C.J: Turriff Academy.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
C.J: I enjoy spending time with my family and especially watching my children playing football. Going for walks with my dog Max plus chilling with Netflix or a good book
C.J: One dog (springer spaniel, Max) and two Maine Coon cats.
What’s your favourite sport, if any?
C.J: Football – I support Aberdeen FC for my sins. I also enjoy F1 – come on Max and Lando Norris this season!
