Our full-service steel pipe and repurposing facility at Forties Road in Montrose, Angus, is situated close to the town’s port making it an ideal location for international trade and distribution throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
The 15 acre facility has undergone significant investment throughout 2021. The new, built-for-purpose UK based manufacturing facility includes a new machine shop to house seven semi-automatic CNC machines as well as a new custom built friction welder, and second inspection shed ensuring continuous improvement in working conditions for its existing team. All of this complements the company’s existing pipe cleaning and fully automated saw cutting facilities, with the ability to cut up to one meter in diameter. The company manages a vast and extensive inventory of tubulars for structural and construction uses, holding a stock of over 20,000 tonnes at any given time which reduces the chance of delay and means that John Lawrie Tubulars can supply at short notice.
