John Lawrie Tubulars is currently seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our Montrose team.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience required.
  • Ability to work with the minimal supervision.

The desired candidate will have experience in a similar manufacturing environment role. They will have sound knowledge of Welding and Fabrication, must be PC literate with the ability to follow documented procedures.

The successful candidate will also have the ability to organise and prioritise jobs along with being able to work to tight deadlines.

John Lawrie Tubulars is currently seeking two experienced Saw Operators to join our Montrose team.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience: Proven experience operating cut-off saws, band saws, or similar heavy manufacturing machinery. Background in a steel stockholding or fabrication environment is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills are essential.
  • Licensing: Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and overhead crane certification are highly desirable.
  • Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, high reliability, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a close production team
